The veneer is received by the way of planing of the bars of the valuable species of the tree (a crossband veneer), or pilling of the short steamed logs from an alder, pines, a maple on the specialslicing machines (rotary-cut veneer).

The most important advantage of the veneer is that it keeps beautiful drawing of a natural wooden cut. For this reason many producers prefer the production of the furniture from the veneer plates, instead of from the wooden massif. Products from such materials are easier and cheap in the price that does them more attractive in the opinion of the final user.
